This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) sets out the conduct we expect from anyone using algomise.com or our products and services. It supplements our Terms of Service.
1. You must not use our services to
- Violate any law, regulation, or third-party right (including IP, privacy, and export controls).
- Generate or distribute content that is unlawful, harassing, defamatory, hateful, or sexually exploitative of minors.
- Run phishing, fraud, or impersonation campaigns.
- Build systems that infringe an individual’s privacy at scale (e.g. unauthorised biometric identification, mass surveillance).
- Develop or deploy AI in high-risk contexts (medical diagnosis, legal advice, autonomous safety-critical systems) without appropriate human oversight, governance, and regulatory approvals.
- Attempt to disrupt or compromise our infrastructure, bypass rate limits, or reverse-engineer our systems.
- Use scraping, automated, or AI tools to harvest personal data from our site beyond what is publicly necessary.
2. AI-specific responsibilities
Where we build or operate AI systems with you, you agree to:
- Maintain a human-in-the-loop for any consequential decision affecting people’s rights, livelihoods, or safety.
- Ensure training and operational data is lawfully sourced and consented where required.
- Inform end-users when they are interacting with an AI system, in line with applicable law (e.g. EU AI Act transparency rules).
- Provide an effective complaint and redress mechanism for end-users.
3. Enforcement
We may investigate suspected violations and take any action we deem appropriate — including warning, suspending, or terminating access, and reporting illegal activity to law-enforcement.
4. Reporting abuse
To report a suspected violation of this AUP, email abuse@algomise.com with as much detail as possible.
5. Changes
We may update this AUP as our products and the legal landscape evolve. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the updated AUP.
